Blog EntryWhen Life's Filled With MusicJul 19, '08 6:48 AM
for everyone

It is inevitable that our everyday lives are filled with music. The ticking of the clock, the rushing water from the faucet, the popping bread, the gushing leaves, the simple hum - they are music in the ears that may seem unnoticeable. Even our voices speak of music. The rhythm of our talking, our joyful yells - they beget life in harmony and melody.

My life today is nonetheless about music. As I am part of a choir, it is my duty to practice singing. This is not only for me but also to my peers whom I sing with. Friends and I enjoy singing a lot. When we hang out together, we sing our hearts out the way we like it to do. But when formal singing is required, we never hesitate to perform appropriately.

It is hard to get criticized; it always does. This afternoon, a friend frankly told me a part of my past that was absurd and impolite. Hearing it was really hurting but I have no choice but to accept it; and so I did. Moreover, it was my turn already to relate criticism of something I overheard and I kind of felt the same way. It was a matter among my friends from the main choir. They apparently sang quite fairly from last Friday's mass. And so just like me, they also felt bad. Nevertheless, it was but a good sign that we were learning and that we had to improve and lessen our mistakes in the future.

Indeed, life is music - it shares the downfalls of bass notes and the success of soprano notes. Life is music - we sing everyday with the notes whether it may be true or false. Life is music - we play with our voices, hands, feet, mind and especially our hearts.

Blog EntryTrees Jul 11, '08 8:33 AM
for everyone

Hello there poetic friends. Let me do a "prose-y" ode for you. Here's something to talk about. Hope you could catch by here and tell something. I want to here you all.

Let's consider this poem by Joyce Kilmer - Trees.

THINK that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,

         5

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

  10

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree.

I have a common look (or shall I say glance) upon this poem for years already. I take it here -simple, beautiful. Yet, I couldn't find an edge. I can't see magic but I know there is.

How about hearing you. Yes?

for everyone

Sorry for not updating my blog for weeks. I know I lost you guys and kept out of your reach. Let's just say I lost pace of my eagerness on writing. Important thing is, I'm back. Okay, let's end there.

Recent updates, everyone? I'm happy that I belonged to one of the highest SRA colors in class. Yepee. Quite an achievement for me. You know how shallow I am. I have never been good in reading comprehension and vocabulary because I'm naturally not gifted with it and am not reading that much. But anyway, at last, after 5 times of repeatedly taking the test for 5 years, I scored high. Hahaha. I know, it's shallow yet I'm happy with it. I hope you're happy with it too.

Blog EntrySci-Duck Chronicles: Codename Sci-DuckJul 2, '08 8:37 AM
for everyone

Sci-duck is not a paranormal entity – and will never be. He was once “Psyduck” - a mere lazy, stubborn and dumb duck shelled in a Pokeball from the Pokemon World.  A lot of Pokemon trainers thought of him as useless. And so, among all the Pokemon entities from the Pokemon World, he was one of the most  inferior.

One day, when the TV screens stopped flaunting off Ash and his friends from the Pokemon World, Psyduck came out of his Pokeball without having his trainer Misty know it. He immediately went off the woods like a crazy frog hurdling off the pond. He doesn’t know where he is and what he does.

After some time, a very strong lightning struck over the head of Psyduck. The event was so devastating – Psyduck got a clone of himself. Another lightning struck - the clone Psyduck just vanished.

The clone Psyduck immediately got into the World Morph Laboratory. The year was 3990. No one knew why he got there. Amused of him, scientists studied him. They eventually knew his weaknesses and decided to morph him. Through techniques like electromagnetic resonance, Psyduck was genetically morphed. And so, a new Psyduck was born.

Now, the clone Psyduck bears a name called “Sci-Duck”. His past shall be forgotten for the new him is strong, wise, and has a great sense and love for Science.

And so, the scientists decided to send Psyduck to 2008 to share into the mission

of spreading the up-to-date interventions in the field of science.

Blog EntryInternet, I missed yeah!Jun 26, '08 1:56 AM
for everyone

Those past days that I haven't been in the Net was really absurd. I felt terrible. I just love the Internet - and all the people here too. Maybe except for spammers, pornodicts, whatever, etc. I missed my Multiply, Yahoo, Friendster, Yahoo Messenger, Everybody!! Now I'm back!

So what's up with me during those past days. Hmmm... Oh yeah! Again, haters and booners. Haters: I'm always the second best! Hahahah! I hate being the second best! I wanna be the best! Lol. Whatever. I'd just laugh this over. Right, Squeaky sprite! **wink** Boons: Yeah, yeah, I've got nice extra school stuff. My proposal on a monthly newsletter was approved, favorably approved, superlatively approved! Well, that was after ME (the humble me, hahahah) won an ultimate deliberation over this president I deal with my club. Lol. And ME (the humble me, hahahah) was the Vice-President. Yeah, you're right with what you're thinking. **wink** And so, okay me. Yey!

And hey, your gorgeous (hahaha) friend over here settles with a kind of a, um, singing career! Hahahah! Yeah, I'm with a fancy school chorale group too this year. Lovely! **wink** Now, you heard it right. I sang "Ordinary People". I sounded weird and no goodie. Whatever, a least I made it. Nah, we were all bad singers in the group. At least with us, the boys. Lol. I think this experience will be soooooo...soooo...so? fun.

Here it ends! :-)

P.S.: Missed yah all!! :-)

for everyone

At last, after 1-gazillion years, I found the best site ever for research! So far, I think this is the best academic resource ever. I'm so dumb. I just found this a while ago. Okay, whatever. I'll share it, but I know you that you know it.

http://www.ipl.org

This post is not my report. I just would like to share this to you.

St. Marcellin Champagnat, born in 1789, was the founder of the Marist Brothers of the Schools that primarily aimed of educating children especially the least favored ones through the values and virtues of Mary. He lived as a priest, humbly and meekly with a life dedicated to service.

Years later, his dream was a milestone. Now, his coveted path is lightyears away from its starting point as his heartfelt visionary began spreading all throughout the world that is reared especially by every generation of Marist Brothers.

Today, a revolutionary document designed through his ideals sheds the world the light of indomitable spirit and love. "Water from the Rock: Marist spirituality – flowing in the tradition of Marcellin Champagnat" Document talks about the Marial Apostolic Tradition instituted by the founder of the Marist Brothers, Saint Marcellin Champagnat. It is geared to make the larger audience realize the visionary path towards living an apostolic life through the virtues of Mary. Its primordial dream is to raise good ciizens of the world though challenges of the present times arise.

I am one in this dream of propagating the Marial Apostolic Tradition. I may be a Protestant but I am open to Religious Diversity. This endeavor is but a work for change - change on humanity's flaws through faith.

You may access the Document here.

God bless us all. Let us all live a meaningful life.

Blog EntryThings RoRo Hate #2: Early Political Ads Jun 18, '08 8:22 AM
for everyone

I'm glad to hear about the release of Ms. Ces Drillon and her companions yesterday night. At some point, I felt relief because of knowing that they were released by their captors, and that proving that there is a God. I felt no hatred on the captors because I know that they did it for a reason, may not be good and noble but definitely selfless. However, I feel that the act was an injustice - a mere criminal and immoral act.

To talk about injustice, malificience, unabiding to ettiquette as based on my principles, I say that I hate Early Political Ads.

Indeed, I am so happy of the safe release of Drillon and her companions from captivity. I am happier too that someone "big" helped them in the person of Ms. LL. I know for a fact that she excudes Christian generosity and philanthropic leadership. BUT! She exaggeratingly over-plays Philippine politics that I foresee her NOW as one of those abusive intelligent big-time politicians.

I give credit to her genuine reputation as a public servant... and there. But I think, ever since her political career has started, she undoubtedly wanted power that I even see it as no good to her career already as a public servant. I can sense already that she does not do this just for winning and serving, but only for mere self-gratification. And I hate it. What's worst in the act is the publicly vivid cliche speeches on exposing her "notable" contributions, works, hoolabaloos, whatever.

Now, she ranks second on my list of hated politicians.

And people may I present to you, the Top 1 on my list, MV!! You knwo who he is. Text brigade everybody. As if he doesn't know who's in need of help. If he really intends to waste money, why can't he just let his people look for the needy instead of him exposing his ugly face on the realms of my 1000000000-inch plasma TV. Doesn't he imagine it??!! A TV ad nowadays costs $5000.0000000 each! Whatever.

Now you politicians, stop making me irk. You know, I'm a media addict and I hate seeing the things that I hate with the thing I'm addicted with. So please stop splurging yourself to the masses like angelic idiots and mocking me like a fat-ass bully. Okay!? Come on! Presidential election's still on the 2010. Grow up you creatures!

Blog EntryRoRo Does Music!Jun 17, '08 9:17 AM
for everyone

Just this afternoon, we had our first Music Class for this school year. I'm quie lovin' it except for the idea of me playing the pee-ay-ey-en-ow and the gee-you-I-tee-are! Woosh! I'm too old to learn those you know. I won't be able to pull them through anymore. Ever since, I've never been interested in LEARNING to play musical instruments, but I like playing them. You know, that lazy attitude, just would like to pull over a piano without actually LEARNING it. Hahaha! Child prodigy, is that you?! Lol.

Anyway, as i say so, I DID MUSIC!! Hahaha! Yeah, I can sing, a bit, but I mean, make melody with a keyboard... and a keyboard!! Yes, keyboards!

I took a step of going through the Net to seek for a virtual piano! Yebah! And I had 10 notes. Hahaha! And I made a melody! Yey! I also took out my lovely kiddie piano from the ages! I tried my melody and it wasn't really spectacular, just fine.

And I'm happy.

Next stop is this my "Apologize" by Timbaland obsession. Okay, you guessed it right. Roro sang "Apologize". Hahahah! And I sounded so BAD!! Hahahah! Anyway, I'm no singer you know. And I'm lurving it. ***wink*** Hahaha! It took me "super duper higher faster stronger" effort (wooooooooooooosssshhhhh) to pull it over. Hahahaha! Anyways, fun evening!! Devoted to Music folks! Lolsielol!!

Good night and Sweet Dreams!!

I eat burgers. Perhaps everybody does except those PETA people. I love them. Easy to eat, lovely taste, fills the stomach. It's the food for those starve freaks like me, for stressed addictus like me, and the whatever people like me. I love them. I really do. But yeah, I hate veggies in my burgers.

The Hamburger

I like hamburgers. They're sumptuous. They're round, has meat. The buns are round. When bakes, they're brown. All burgers are round, at least from what I've seen though. The best part is a burger is a food. It can be eaten.

The Cheeseburger

I like cheeseburgers. They're hamburgers with cheese. Delicious too. There's a pinch of dairy in the meal. The thick taste of cheese compliments with the hamburger. Cheeseburgers are better than hamburgers. But they too can be eaten. That's the best part - eating the food.

The Double Cheeseburger

I like double cheeseburgers. There's cheese on top of the meat and under the meat too. They're delicious. Fattening, bnot easy to digest. It take two days of gym work-out to burn it. I think so. But all I know is that double cheeseburgers are delicious. I haven't eaten one yet.

The Hamburger and Cheeseburger Marathon

Since I'm an obese bastard, after school one day I bought three burgers - two cheeseburgers and one hamburger. I thought of giving away my hamburger but I was really hungry then. I ate all of those burgers. I felt so full. Glad that I had no constipation after that. I felt happy - for the food, the burgers.

Blog EntryKung Fu PandaJun 14, '08 3:59 AM
for everyone

(from Wikipedia)

After doing a couple of errands downtown, I watched at a nearby mall the movie Kung Fu Panda. Yes, it's the animation flick about an enormous bungling panda who does martial arts, well first dreamed of it, and actually became a kung fu warrior. Okay, I end it up there. Don't wanna be a spoiler, you know. But let me give you my random overview about the movie.

And so the movie was good. I don't think it's fantastic, preferrably because I'm not an animated film sucker. But yeah, I admit I was more into Ratattouille. Anyway, I'll be subjective.

I think I like Po. Yeah, he was the Panda there. You know, he was a bit messy, clumsy and all, but definitely funny. I liked how he "evolved" in the film. He was worth the watch. I think he was commercially made to become appealing. Hell yeah, that's the main reason of making the movie - to make money. And yeah, to entertain too.

Okay, let me get into my point. I had somewhat confusion with Master Shifu's character. I actually came in to the theater half-way through the movie already. And while going through it, I saw in him a man with pure distinction and a guy so introvert. I went over the first part and I felt some kind of a bit lucid on him. I felt there was a bit inconsistency on him which I relatively cannot explain.

I also cannot understand Tai Lung being the villain. It said there that he became the meanie because he had darkness in his heart. It was not further exposed in the movie. Though of a mere interpretation of that, I view it as part of the producers' cost cutting or should it be mislap in the script.

I felt that there's something with Tigress' character too. I felt that if it was further explained, the plot would be more exciting, be better. I felt disregard with her character. I saw in her a greater sense than what was shown in the film.

To sum it up, the movie was intersting. INTERESTING.

Blog EntryLooking BigJun 13, '08 5:47 AM

Whew.School's over for this week and I'm quite satisfied. I started absoutely not fine but I'm off my way to adjustment and enjoyment. Now I know, I have this bad talent of complicating things you know. Oh well. That seems to be VERY VIVID ever since. Poor me. Anyway, I'm tired of school and I wanna talk something else again.

Let's see... Hmmm...

Okay, it's quite about my school. You know I belong to a not-so-aaa-aaa school. It's neither bad nor too good. It's fine. Not a top-notch nor a bad one. Although I dreamed of something big ever since, I always get small. Maybe because of my attitude too. Um, I quite happy with it. I've got a good environment, quite competitive, nice faculty, um, so-so. But I always think that the education I'm getting there is good. Perhaps I can't talk here if I haven't gone there. Um, yeah.

Okay, so I like Fourth Year. Yes, I'm a freaking immature bastard. I'm gonna be going to college pretty  soon, a year from now. And yes, still in course-searching. I still don't know yet. But I still prefer making it to UP. I hope so, if not, then I'd go to other colleges or univs.

I like our computer class this year. We're handling HTML and Web Design. Um, I feel it's quite hard, but a career in Information Technology will do good. Oh I'd love that! I'd make my own site someday. I'm still dumb with that thing you know. Poor me.

Now, sorry for the meanie words last post. It was actually unfair, absurd. But again, your immature friend here still finds his self you know. And he thanks you for being there. :-)

I look big.

Whew! I just finished fixing up my study area! Yey. I don't really like it but it's better. I think it's good for me on sleepless nights for school, blah-blah, studying. And so, I like it now. Quite comfy, just enough.

Actually, I recently created this hobby of every 2 to 3 months, I change the positions of our furniture. And so during the summer, "my bedroom" was rearranged. The stuff at the right side of the room was placed on the left and I had my bed on the right. We have a very small space here and so it's just quite enough for us.

And yeah, since classes will soon start, I decided to put a comfy study table instead of having a desktop table in my room.

This study table I had is not really a good one but a nice do-it-here-do-it-there thing would make it a bit appealing (at least for me). The table actually has this ugly drawer thing under its top and so I took it off. Yeah, carpenter here! Lol. I placed my desktop on the left and had my working space at the right. Now, I'm still making myself accustomed. You know, I got used to having my keyboard on the bed and me making blogs while lying (or must I say upside down, whatever).

Heya, getting ready for school! ^^

Blog EntryTwo In - Two OutJun 5, '08 1:56 AM
for everyone

I opened my Multiply inbox and saw four invitations. "Hmmm... where are these from?" I said. Three were from "Maricris" and one invitation from Ms Chelle.

I approved Ms Chelle's invitation because it was some kind of a contact. And so the other three invitations were from so-called Maricris, making me part of these groups.

The first group was a "Bianca Gonzales Fan Group". I read Ms Gonzales' blog because I find her amusing. I watch her shows on TV and I like her doing her stuff. I just hate her "clapping" mannerism; that's all. But nevertheless, I can be a fan. And so: Accept or Decline? Accept.

The second group was a "Charice Pempenco Fan Group". I like the way Charice sings; that's it. She's such a talent; that's it. I just hate her so-called "give me importance, damn it" manner. As a viewer, and perhaps also as a consumer (because consumers play a role too in the entertainment industry), I find such act infuriating. And so: Accpet or Decline? Decline.

The third group was a "TFC Fan/Whatever/Etc Group". I give a damn on TFC because I know some people abroad who subscribe on TFC - relatives, friends, etc. But am I a fan? Nope. So: Accept or Decline? Decline.

Heya! I'm crappy, you know. Lem'me be. Darn it.

Blog EntryDon't KnowJun 3, '08 12:46 AM
for everyone

Yesterday, we went to the histopathological department of this certain hospital where we had our sample slides done. Actually, it was a kind of an embarassing moment because we had to  deal with 'Ms Medtech' to whom we did something mean. Niahahaha! And so, we had to go there often, and often do we get irked too.

We got inside the room and there they were - Ms Medtech and Dr. Alconcel, a histopathologist. We asked for our slides from the Medtech and somehow apologetically wanted to go off. However, Dr. Alconcel offered us with something that he might help us.

Dr. Alconcel: So how's your study? Let me see if I can do some help.

Vannie and I kind of liked the offer and so we talked to him. We talked this and that, blah blah, niah, niah. And until...

Dr. Alconcel started explaining "an idea" about our study of which we the researchers haven't known since then. Niax... And so off he spoke to us, and this is what I have absorbed:

Above is a picture of a kidney of a mouse subjected to histopathological process - microtome cutting and stained using Haematoxylin-Eosin, H&E. And so that's the thing that we shall get from the slides we obtained. Yeah, that pic is not ours. I don't know where I got that but I think that's not from the Net, mayebe from a book last year when I happened to search for lit.

Okay, what I have kept in mind: (CAUTION: This may not seem to be so true. This is what I have understood. Hahaha. If I really did.)

There's this thing called 'kidney necrosis'. (ladies and gents, i'm no med genius nor do i claim to know a piece of this. niaix.) It is actually characterized by the death of kidney cells. But before the kidney comes to an end, it actually comes to a stage of adaptation. In this stage, the kidney tries to revive itself and is actually a form of the body's resistance. On the slides, such occurence is manifested by cloudy swelling. And so fast-forward, when the kidney cells especially the nephrons' tubules do not get enough resistance, such may come to end with "Acute Tubular Necrosis". And so with this, the kidney's tubules are turning black which is visible on the slides.

There you go. Huhuhuhu. Poor me. Medical Practicioners out there... Please do help me. I actually know that what i said is wrong, and I am here so that someone could lend help. Please... yey!
